Unique and intriguing scents have always fascinated men, but that's another question if these fascinating fragrances would find a place on their shelves. Over the years men have tried many latest perfumes and brands and a limited number of which have been able to win them over for varied reasons. Out here we have compiled a list based on our study for the most popular perfumes in India for men. These are international branded perfumes.
So if you want to get a perfume that's worth the value for your money then here you go. The perfume names are in random order but it should ring a bell if you been around the perfume field for some time.
Also we have tried to include those perfumes that can be bought online in India.
The two words that come to mind once you have used the Tobacco Oudh Intense, Extreme masculinity!
The Tobacco Oudh Intense opens with a bright triad of coriander, labdanum, and a crisp cistus impression in the background. The crispness is prominent a bit later by the castoreum that comes out gradually. But never do the spices get harsh or intrusive, rather a delightful treat to the manly senses. As it evolves further, you get to experience some smoky and mildly musky accords too.
The fragrance then transcends to a subtle Oud note enveloped by the tobacco which is very mildly sweeter but more on the earthy and spicy character. A hint of nutmeg is combined with the sweetness of tonka which gives a balancing tone to the entire fragrance. Wow, what a marvel of a perfume!
Hold it, it’s not over yet. The dry down treats you with a softer, smoother and darker patchouli towards the end. A woody climax with traces of sandalwood in the finale.
A beastly projection for indoors and outdoors. The lasting is a good 10 to 12 hours depending upon conditions.

2. Sauvage by Dior
The perfume opens with blast of bergamot and pepper. The initials notes hover around between sweetness, freshness and freshly laundered sheets. It exhibits the effect of cleanliness and you get the impression that this perfume was designed for a modern man, whether he is savage or not.
The heart notes are a combination of vetiver and mild roughness of sichuan and pink pepper. Nonetheless, dry lavender and ambroxan dominate here showing a balsamic accord. This is what makes the perfume austere.
The perfume drydown is far from fresh as it transcends into a subtly smooth patchouli that throws the woody whiff around.
If you want to smell fresh around people, then this is it.

3. Aventus by Creed
The best opening ever in any scent ever for men. Victorious is the pinnacle of modern, masculine-centric perfumery. It is fruity, yet woody. It is unique green, yet gourmand. It is dry and mossy, yet very wet. It is dark and brooding, yet energizing and positive.
It is dominated by pineapple, apple, and blackcurrant. Within an hour, the fruity introduction gives way to rich birch and rose across a base layer of vanilla and ambergris.
Throughout its duration, Victorious reveals itself in a flurry of dry birch and oakmoss, while ambergris suggests a damp, earthy forest floor.
A timeless masterpiece perfume.

4. Invictus by Paco Rabanne
It is sweet and it's a youthful perfume, but it can be worn by both the young and the young at heart.
The initial few minutes of the opening wouldn't impress you if you are an impatient frag lover. But once it settles down, whoa, there you go on a sweet, citrus, woody ride with a touch of bubblegum. Ladies are quite attracted to this scent on a man.

6. Oud Wood by Tom Ford
An addictive scent with a unique fragrance. It's reassuring, warm, enigmatic, deep, intriguing, spicy, yet fresh and flowery, but still very masculine. The Oud Wood is classified as an exotic perfume. Light and airy sandalwood in the opening and later there are some florals that suggest a unisex scent. Sexiness provided by the cardamom and hint of vanilla. Smells classy and refined. Versatile for day or night, office or date.
The Oud Wood starts out with a woody, somewhat ozonic, slightly aquatic feel to it. Fortunately this quickly fades and develops into the heavenly oud-tonka-amber accord that my experience associates with an oud fragrance. The rose note lingers in the background, but the heart of the fragrance centers on a rich earthy oud, sweetened with tonka and smoothed out by amber and vanilla. There's a slight gourmand tone in the nature of a winter fireplace toddy, yet it never fully turns into a malty coffee liquor, although the pairing would be quite enjoyable. It dries down to a very nice vanilla/subtle wood note - classic TF vanilla in fact.

7. Green Irish Tweed by Creed
Nice fresh fragrance, very grassy with a touch of lemon. It begins as a sweet floral scent with a hint of fresh citrus. It dries down to a soft woody scent, but doesn't lose the fresh green signature.
A classic masculine scent with a beastly lasting for those hot days when you want to smell fresh the entire work day.
Emanates a calm feeling of confidence and luxury.

8. Bleu De Chanel by Chanel
A fresh, clean and profoundly sensual perfume, Bleu de Chanel is a top notch perfume. Targeted intently for the elegant and authoritative man, The Bleu de Chanel is a perfume that adds to your charisma.
Not many perfumes for men can give this kind of an immediate boost of confidence like Bleu de Chanel.
The notes that include citrus accord, vetiver, pink pepper, grapefruit, dry cedar notes, labdanum, frankincense, ginger and sandalwood.
9. Cool Water by Davidoff
Cool Water is an extraordinarily easy-to-wear fragrance that is suitable for casual or office use. Cool Water is a wet, fresh, woody fragrance with a light floral note (germanium).
It opens with soft lavender mingling with orange and mint. The rosemary top note - while well documented - is muted. The opening is fairly germanium-forward. This floral note tempers the dry oak moss middle and lends an overall softness and "wetness" to the scent.
Cool Water's dry down is heavy on sandalwood and musk. It is somewhat linear and decidedly more floral.
10. White Aoud by Montale
Bright and electrifying. The White Oud perfume is a kind of white-powdery oud based scent, mostly comprising a vanillin-amber accord, sandalwood, nutty nuances and a salty-woody note on the base that imitates a vetiver note and also a clearly detectable patchouli note delivering its signature cocoa earthy feel.
Beautiful blend of all the scents mentioned already. Not one note overpowers the other.
The opening is fairly pungent for the first couple of minutes. The relatively sharp top notes persist for at least about 10-15 minutes. Thereafter the spices and flowers begin to compete for your attention. They emerge gradually, with the combination of saffron and rose taking the center stage for some time. An hour later or even longer, the fragrance settles down to its compelling, smooth, velvety base. The rose is dark and inky – like a metallic, laced with saffron, which makes it slightly salty. No sooner that makes way for the touch of warm amber and the subtle vanilla. Sillage is quite powerful. The lasting is long on fabric as well as skin.

11. Eternity by Calvin Klein
Spicy carnation in a bouquet of lovely florals, a splash of citruses that help freshen up the green notes.
Lily of the valley is bright and clean, and is a great complement to the soft and creamy carnation.
A staple fragrance of the mature lady. A very distinguishable, unique, classic scent with incredible silage. This is a professional lady's fragrance, not for really young girls.
It's light and it's crisp!
12. Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent
With an intoxicating character, the Dark Opium opens with a clubbed pear and pink pepper accord.
A very good girl kind of effect. And then comes the darkness of night and seduction at the heart of this scent with a woody black coffee effect as the florals fade out slowly.
What emerges after that is the sweetness of vanilla combined with the incense like cedarwood and patchouli knotted together.
A rock-n-roll experience with a happy ending. The Dark Opium is a non-alcoholic perfume oil you will fall in love with at the first sniff.
12. CK Summer by Calvin Klein
The scent opens with a burst of grapefruit tartness to it, and maintains the citrus note throughout its duration. A powerful summer scent for the ladies yet ranked as a unisex perfume for it's subtle citrus accord.
The woody notes are perfect to accentuate the lemon/orange notes. It's fresh and a powerful weapon against body odor for men and women.

13. Tuscan Leather by Tom Ford
Powerful, very distinctive masculine fragrance with a bittersweet raspberry effect. Smells like a fine Italian leather jacket, not a saddle or catchers mitt. The raspberry in the background makes it fascinating.
The opening smells like oiled leather that is pleasant and feels musty and earthy to some degree. Some time into it, the raspberry note starts emerging giving the perfume a wow effect. The combination of the oiled leather with raspberry smells just great.
The transition is a gradual but smooth one, working through various florals, perhaps gardenia and violet, to end with a sweetish raspberry accord that retains just enough of the leather to make it work. This is what makes it a top list unisex perfume.
The perfume silage is awesome and longevity encompassing.
14. Open by Roger & Gallet
Open Perfume… experience the zing!
It opens instantly with a smoky vetiver that is quickly overpowered by the spiciness of the tobacco that is combined with the bergamot to top the zing.
Amalfi lemon from rises at the heart with the lavender holding it from getting too spiky. Sage and Thyme make a notable guest appearance towards the end of the middle. They mingle with the vetiver and tobacco to form the base through much of its lasting duration to set the personality of the wearer different from others. Heads will turn for sure.
Open is a fascinating scent with nothing comparable. It plays nice in the evenings due to its smoky character yet also sets you apart in casual office settings to last the entire day. People for sure will ask you what you are wearing.
Lovers of smoky vetiver and tobacco scents will revel in every bit of this modern style traditional fragrance, purely for its expensive smell that comes with such a low cost. Beast of a fragrance.
The projection is monstrous and the longevity or lasting is all day. It enamors the passer-by.
Any time is a good time to wear this statement perfume that will for sure make heads turn towards you. A rich feel kind of fragrance but just affordable.
15. Ultra Male by Jean Paul Gautier
One word to define this superhero scent; Delicious! The opening boasts a warm sweet cinnamon reminiscent of the Givenchy Pi Perfume but minus the sneeze accord and much deeper and loveable. The lavender then shows up but without displacing or disturbing the sweet cinnamon opening.
The spiced vanilla then appears, sharing the stage with the lavender and cinnamon.
The performance of this scent does the talking while you are in a gathering. The lasting and projection are monstrous.
16. Iceberg by The House of Iceberg
A bright and clean, mood enhancing scent. A luxurious fragrance with a rich citrus and floral character. A blend of fresh, clean, tangy citrus. It has a stellar opening that is bright. An uplifting fragrance. It fizzes with lemon zest and mint.
Discreet, long-lasting fragrance with a bergamot and lemon that slowly fades as the transition towards the heart notes into an orange blossom and flowery-spicy heart. The base is complimented by soft musk and a mildly woody bottom tone.
Fresh and gender neutral, a fragrance that is good for office / summer / autumn wear.
17. Baccarat Rogue 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian
Salted sugary cotton candy with something alluring and seductive. This is a stunning fragrance. It's almost as if you have this fruity/sugary/strawberry/light woody smell that you can't quite get to because it is enclosed in a bubble of water
The burnt sugar accord is very prominent in the opening. The burnt sugar is lightly tinged with a floral softness that never becomes overbearing. It's a perfect balance between the sugar, florals, citrus, aroma chemicals, cedar and fir balsam.
It is quite linear, but increases in conifer and decreases just a bit in sweetness as it lasts and lasts, causing you to smell like a much classier dude than you really are. And you will sense that when people come closer to you.
18. Acqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani
Acqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani is sexy and clean, a long-lasting fragrance that’s inspired by a vacation Armani took to the majestic coastal town of Pantelleria, Italy. While details of that special trip are kept in secrecy, the story goes that Armani took a whiff of Mediterranean paradise, put it in a bottle and then passed the bottle along to millions (and millions) of people. It’s now the gold standard of affordable men’s perfume.
19. Montblanc Legend by Montblanc Cologne
Montblanc Legend carries a style that will resonate with most male millennials. The dry down over the opening notes are silvery, polished, oceanic, ozonic - its a very well done fragrance that is in a similar style as Versace Homme Eau Fraiche or an aquatic version of Bleu de Chanel.
20. Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford
One of the best niche fragrances for perfume lovers. And Intoxicating perfume that is dark sweet. A big opening of vanilla and a big blast of tobacco in equal amount. The opening burst dies down quick enough and takes a subdued form.
The woody honey chocolate accord start dancing around adding to the yin and yang of a dark sweetness. The Coffee and Tonka come out a bit at the base as this magnetic fragrance dries down. The sweetness of the vanilla dies out as time goes on and this becomes much closer to a gourmand.
Boozy vanilla, tobacco, something sweet and fruity like a plum or raisin covered in cocoa powder.
Great silage and a definite compliment getter. Excellent longevity. Lasts all day and you can still smell it the next day.
