The most commonly used aroma ingredients are Linalool, Benzyl benzoate, Benzyl cinnamate, Benzyl salicylate, Cinnamyl alcohol, Citral, Citronellol, Coumarin, Eugenol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Aldehyde, etc. It's quite a long list and the secret recipe could be only known to the perfumer who made Chanel No. 5. But the above mentioned ingredients have been identified as the most commonly used aroma chemicals in this best perfume for women.
Call them anything you wish
So whether you call them Attars Ittars Perfume Oils Fragrance Oils Perfume Compounds, it doesn't make a different. As long you are happy with the end product and as long as it is not toxic, you can call them anything you want!
